Note to hubby: Shut your pie hole!

Well, he did it again! We saw the Mayor over the weekend at a work function and my dear hubby made a fool out of me, and as usual he does not see anything wrong with what he said. That is it, I am NOT going to take him with me to any more functions. I am going to call my gay friend Jacob, I know he can behave like a normal human being. Well, maybe not too normal, but he can fake it for an hour or two. My work had a family picnic this past Friday, we closed City Hall at 3pm and kept the pool area open until 10pm. We were encouraged to bring our families for the activities. I left work, went home packed a cooler, the kids and the hubby. We arrived around 5pm, and settled into one of picnic tables. My son gathered with the other children and began playing with the balloons, my daughter found a little tent they had set up, and my husband made small talk with the random people he knew. Swimsuit.

Here is the headline in my house - Happily Married Man, found with a swimsuit mag. crammed down his throat. :) For the last 3 years I have had swimsuit issues. Year 1, I was pregnant, Year 2 - just had a baby, Year 3 - this is year 3 and still carrying and extra 10lbs. Don't get me wrong I had swimsuit issues prior to having kids, but my issues have gotten worse with each passing year. This year has been no different. I ordered 3 suits and they arrived in the mail. I tried them on last week and allowed Lance to voice his opinion. Mind you, all 3 suits are now are their way back to the respective vendors. We are back at square one. So last night, while Pyper is in the bathtub, I continue my search for the 'perfect' suit. I am flipping thru the pages, torn over whether or not to attempt a 2 piece. Whatever suit is chosen must contain padding - these boobs are sad these days. So sad that Lance has asked me 3 times now if I want a boob job. The answer is no. I don...

Back, I think....

Well somewhere among the mess is my camera with all of my photos. To say we took NYC by storm would be putting it lightly. We set the damn place on fire. I walked so much I thought my feet would fall off, and on top of it all gained 6 lbs. SWEAR. 6LBS.... As a side note, I am not sure how I could gain weight with ALL of the walking we did. Perhaps it was off balance with all of the food / drink. perhaps? Pizza at 11:30 could be the issue - but it was damn good pizza. I won't give it all away, but here is a bit of a tease. - I saw the Naked Cowboy - I went to a psychic on the street; she scared the bee-jeez out of me. ( I called my mother FREAKED OUT). - I saw Mama Mia on Broadway. The boys went to a Yankees game - had tickets right behind home plate. - We rode the subway like no body's business. - I saw all of the normal things (Time Square, Battery Park, Ground Zero, Brooklyn Bridge, Lower E.
